Meet the Owner’s

Welcome to ShalloW Ridge Wedding & event venue, llc

William & Linda Canady married in February 2003, and now have 2 children; son Corbin 21 and daughter Carly 18. We are a very close-knit family with a strong Christian faith! William is a 5th generation farmer; a true-blue farmer down to his core.

William takes pride in making sure his farming is the best it can possible be and the rest is up to God. Linda wears

many hats, too many to name but she will be the one handling the day-to-day operations of the venue and is also a

certified wedding planner. Corbin is his dad’s right hand assisting him with anything on the farm; passion being

hunting and fishing. “It’s been the biggest blessing”, William says, “having Corbin by my side, teaching him everything

my dad taught me, we can’t wait to see how far he will go in life. Sorry ladies he is taken lol”. Carly is a senior at

Gray’s Creek High school and anxiously awaits college in the fall. She loves tennis, working out, and has an

outstanding work ethic.

William and Corbin built over 80% of this venue, from cutting the trees on our farm and sawing the

boards at our sawmill, to placing them on or inside the walls. “We had help yes, there were some fantastic people

helping or coaching us along the way. And we are finally finished and opened in February 2026. We couldn’t be more

pleased with the outcome; it is simple beautiful!”

Farming is getting harder each year with many houses taking the place of rented farmland and so many other hurdles

to jump through that it keeps getting tougher for the little farms to survive. Which is the biggest reason William and

Linda prayerfully decided to include a venue on the farm. “It’s never been a dream to open a venue, it is a necessity,”

says Linda, “to supplement the farm income, being good stewards of the land, and insuring to the best of our ability

that we can pass the farm down to another generation.” Farmers, whether big or small, play a vital role in our world

and it’s a sad fact that farms go out of business at an alarming rate. Hence the saying “No Farms No Food.”

So, when you possibly can, support your local Farmers!

A huge heartfelt THANK YOU in considering our venue for your special event! Choose us or not we wish you many of

God’s Blessing!
